Through support from the AMETEK Foundation, Cristo Rey Philadelphia’s STEAM Club lab has become a hub of creativity and discovery. Funding from the Foundation has enabled the school to outfit its lab with cutting-edge tools like 3D printers, laptops, tablets, and laser engravers—technologies that have ignited excitement among students and tripled participation in their after-school STEAM Club. These tools reinforce classroom concepts and connect them with real-world applications.

Along with furnishing the lab, the AMETEK Foundation has funded the school’s FIRST Robotics Club and Science Olympiad Team. Students can leverage resources from the STEAM Club lab to design, test, and refine their entries into tournaments.
