- Fine Tubes – a UK-based manufacturer of precision metal tubing in an extensive range of high-performance stainless steel, titanium and nickel alloys. Established in 1943, Fine Tubes has developed the unique capability to manufacture both seamless and welded tubes for critical applications in the aerospace, oil and gas, nuclear and medical industries.
- Superior Tube – a US-based manufacturer of small diameter, precision engineered tubes in a wide range of stainless steel, nickel, titanium, and zirconium alloys. Founded in 1934, Superior Tube has developed the unique capability to manufacture seamless welded or welded & redrawn (Weldrawn®) for critical tolerance applications in the aerospace, nuclear, defense, medical and oil and gas industries.
- Hamilton Precision Metals – a US-based manufacturer of rolled metal strips, foil, and ultra-thin foil. Since 1939, Hamilton Precision Metals has grown into a world-leading specialist re-roller of almost every alloy made today. Their metal strip and foil are found in applications wherever consistency, quality and precision are critical design and performance requirements.
- AMETEK SMP Wallingford – a US-based pioneer in the manufacturer of high purity metal strip, specialty shaped wire, engineered shaped components and thermal management materials. - AMETEK SMP Eighty Four – a US-based manufacturer of water atomized powders, stainless steel high alloyed powders, and clad plate products. Over the past 50 years, AMETEK SMP Eighty Four has built a reputation for its unique flexibility in customizing an extensive portfolio of specialty alloy powders for critical applications.

Meet Shannon – a dedicated member of Superior Tube of AMETEK Specialty Metal Products. She is a Quality Assurance and Systems Manager who is passionate about solving customer problems and developing specialty metal materials that help change the world. She says she enjoys the problem-solving aspect of her work.
“I’m inspired by the opportunities in my work to be creative and to ‘think outside the box’,” she says. “The fact that there are so many different solutions and approaches you can take to solve a customer’s problem is exciting.”
