BALDWIN PARK, CA – AMERON MASS Systems, a unit of AMETEK Aerospace & Defense and a pioneer in the development of high-performance aerospace and defense components, has received FAA-PMA approval for replacement left-hand doors on the stowage box assemblies for the emergency oxygen crew masks aboard Boeing 737 and McDonnell Douglas DC 9, MD 88 and MD 90 aircraft.

The stowage box assemblies are installed in aircraft cockpit locations, such as instrument panels or consoles.  They provide ready-for-use stowage of emergency oxygen flight crew masks that are used in the event of cabin depressurization or the generation of harmful gases and fumes within the aircraft cockpit. P/N M407428 and M452830 are solely for left-hand stowage doors and are identical to those of the original equipment manufacturer’s component in terms of fit, form and function.

MASS Systems, the OEM division of AMETEK AMERON, specializes in FAA-PMA components for high-rate discharge fire extinguishing systems and for oxygen systems. These components are developed, manufactured and assembled by MASS Systems at its Baldwin Park facility.
