AMETEK India Opens New Facility in Bengaluru

AMETEK India, a subsidiary of AMETEK Inc., is pleased to announce the inauguration of a new, state-of-the-art facility in Bengaluru that will provide enhanced support to its customers across India and around the world.

AMETEK India started its operations in 2009 and continues to play an important role in meeting customer requirements with its innovative products and differentiated technology solutions. The move to a new office will enhance the company’s ability to support its customers. This new facility is an expansion of AMETEK’s hub of innovation for numerous industries including aerospace & defense, automotive, food, pharma and packaging, high precision metrology, material analyses, oil and gas, and power.

The facility also houses a Centre of Excellence that features the latest products from numerous AMETEK businesses, including Spectro, Taylor Hobson, Land, Atlas, Brookfield, Zygo, Compliance Test Solutions, Programmable Power, Lloyd, Precitech TMC and AMT. These businesses will be able to showcase their capabilities via in-person demonstrations of their products and solutions. The new facility also houses service and calibration labs.

The new facility of AMETEK has well equipped ‘Engineering Center of Excellence’ with research and development laboratories that will support AMETEK’s business units across its global network for design, development, prototype testing activities.

Grand opening event held on 6th December 2022 along with AMETEK employees, customers, distributors, and partners. AMETEK executive leadership team was present on this occasion which includes Wes Hardin, President of AMETEK’s Electronic Instruments Group; Tony Ciampitti, President of AMETEK’s Electronic Instruments Group, Metrology and Materials Analysis; Emanuela Speranza, Chief Commercial Officer; Dr. Chris Maetzig, Vice President, and General Manager of AMETEK’s Ultra Precision Technology Division; as well as other business leaders from across the company.
