LARGO, FLORIDA – The new JOFRA® CSC201 compact signal calibrator from AMETEK Test & Calibration Instruments offers users an easy-to-use, handheld device for calibrating thermocouples and RTDs (resistance temperature detectors). The rugged, high-accuracy calibrator is a convenient tool for process engineers and ideal for both field calibration and workshop use.
AMETEK designed the CSC201 to meet the high-accuracy demands of modern sensors and transmitters. A large number of predefined sensors types are available. The instrument can calibrate 14 types of RTDs and 13 types of thermocouples, providing ohms, mV and custom RTD curves. The versatile CSC201 works with pulsed excitation transmitters and programmable logic controllers and, when combined with a JOFRA APM external pressure module or a JOFRA calibration pump, will measure and calibrate pressure as well.
The CSC 201 features an intuitive user interface with advanced step and ramp functions, including easy zero, full span entry and user-defined time settings. All functions are displayed on a large ClearBrite™ graphical display that provides an excellent overview of all information in a single window. In addition, the CSC201 has fuseless protection that protects the instrument from voltage overloads up to 250 VAC.
All JOFRA handheld calibrators are supplied in a handy soft case that permits operation in the case. A convenient internal storage pocket offers space for test leads and accessories.
