HORSHAM, PA—Model P-1590 and R-1590 sprinkler system gauges from AMETEK US Gauge® were designed specifically for use on wet or dry sprinkler systems. These 3 ½-inch gauges are approved by Factory Mutual System and listed by Underwriters Laboratory.
The Model R-1590 retarded air gauge is used on the sprinkler head side of the control valve in a dry system to accurately monitor line air pressure. It also has the ability to accept water pressures up to 250 psi upon system activation. The Model P-1590 is used on the water supply side of the system to indicate available source pressure. It is used alone on wet systems where water is available to the sprinkler head at all times and is able to handle water pressures up to 300 psi.
Both models feature a polycarbonate one-piece ring and crystal window and an impact- and chemical-resistant molded case. Both models are backed by U.S. Gauge’s 100+ years of experience in process pressure gauges and are available from U.S. Gauge’s Clawson, MI, distribution center or its worldwide network of authorized distributors.
