COLUMBUS, OH--AMETEK Solidstate Controls (SCI) has introduced their newest product line, Digital Process Inverter (DPI), a revolutionary digital inverter designed specifically for process control and industrial applications. DPI systems utilize state-of-the-art Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) technology, incorporating high-power IGBT semiconductors, and digital control for enhanced communications, monitoring, control and diagnostics capabilities.
The DPI system is defined by its ease of use when operating. The digital touch screen allows users the ability to easily monitor and configure elements within the system. The DPI allows for greater efficiencies that help reduce overall costs. The DPI system features an almost instantaneous reaction time, with a mean time between failures (MTBF) rating of greater than 140,000 Hours. For increased monitoring capabilities, the system can also be configured with optional alarms and offers all of the best features of our world class DPP PWM uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.
DPI can also be configured with enhanced communications standards, (Ethernet, Modbus, etc.). Plus, the system runs quiet and has a small footprint. DPI and its accompanying software allow for higher customization and data-logging further attesting to its reliability, giving clients the peace of mind needed to conduct business.
