AMETEK Solidstate Controls to Distribute FRIEM Inverters in North America

COLUMBUS, OH-- AMETEK Solidstate Controls, a leader in a highly customized uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), has signed an exclusive North American agreement for the distribution of inverters for photovoltaic systems manufactured by FRIEM S.p.A.
FRIEM is a long-established manufacturer of high-power converters based in Milan, Italy. With this important partnership, FRIEM aims to strengthen its worldwide presence, which already consists of a sales and technical assistance network in more than 20 countries and installed equipment in more than 70 countries worldwide.
The inverters will be produced by FRIEM at its manufacturing facilities in Italy and sold by Solidstate Controls under the Sahara Solar brand name in the United States, Canada and Mexico. North American inverter customers will rely on FRIEM for high-quality and performance inverter products and on Solidstate Controls for service, assistance and guarantee.
